It was a good day! (I'll try to get the new thread started tomorrow...today, I got behind the 8 ball)

First up...spin class:

It was SO much fun, and my legs are already feeling the effects of the hard ride out of the saddle - even with all of the stretching I did in the Bikram class.

Speaking of the Bikram class, that was the BEST one I've ever taken!

The classroom was smaller and more narrow than most, so the instructor was able to really see everyone, and she made a point to give excellent instruction and modifications. Turns out, I've been getting into several of the poses incorrectly for years (and no one until today corrected me.)

This was also the first time I've gotten through all of the standing portion without having to take several 'child's pose' breaks due to the heat...

As is the case with all things Bikram, I was literally soaking wet by the end of the class. Completely drenched.

I'm going to try to stick with Bikram for awhile. As strong as I was in the spin class, I was the least flexible person in the room - by a long shot. But I recall the first time I took Bikram, I got VERY flexible within a couple of weeks (going daily). The heat really helps you get deep into the stretches.
