I'm using a 10mg of Toradol (or Ketorolac) for the first day to get through the pain right now. I begged for something to get rid of the pain, because I tend to go too far with the Aleve or Motrin (they did nothing!) . And, plus I refused to go on bcps anymore because I'm high risk for breast cancer.
As far as homeopathic methods/alternative methods, I'm currently trying a no wheat diet which is built on the basis that wheat seems to contribute to higher estrogen levels and disruption of hormones. The book is by Dian Shepperson Mills, a nutritionist, whom also suffered from unbearable endometriosis. It seems that women with PCOS and endometriosis has had great success in reduction of pain and fertility. She also recommends a three month trial of vitex, magnesium malate (for the cramping) primorse, selenium, and B-complex. Look it up on amazon.com and read the reviews if you prefer this alternative. I highly recommend her book, it's truly knowledgeable and it's a good read with testimonials and all.
I am finding it so hard to avoid wheat, it's in everything!

Dear God: Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! It is amazing to think about. (Psalm 139:14)
