I also have Hashimotos Thyroiditis and my levels were within th elimits but just barely. I don't believe the antibodies will affect a pregnancy. I am sure your doc explained why he/she put you on the synthroid, if not I will give a brief explanation my doc gave me. Basically the anti bodies will eventually kill you thyroid off and it is better to already be on Synthroid before that happens. It usually takes 5 years for it to happen is what my endo said. If you have any questions please let me know. I actually have an Endo appt on thursday the 22 so let me know any questions you have and I can ask her.
