My cycle has been irregular like yours since I was a teenager. My skin was bad when I was younger, got better in my early 20's (when I conceived both of my children with no problems), and is now a wreck again. All tests had always been normal on me until this year. Over several months, my cycle got more and more irregular and, finally, stopped completely. It was only after it stopped that my ultrasound came back revealing PCOS.
I'm definitely not saying that you have PCOS, but I am saying that it is a possibility.
I started taking birth control (for cramps) when I was 17 and I only stopped when my husband and I decided to try to start a family. I did not go back on the pill after my 2nd child because I chose to chart my cycle instead. I have had problems ever since then. |
