I think different labs have different protocols... at my lab they drew my blood before I drank the stuff, then they drew it again 2 hours later. Some labs will draw an additional sample an hour after you drink the nasty stuff.
The test wasn't too bad, I thought. I got a little tired after the drink but nothing I couldn't handle. Unfortunately they didn't have any in the fridge, so I had to drink it warm... that was the worst part for me.
