Good article, but I don't agree with some of the things to eat / avoid.
I've eliminated fruit completely from my diet and I have lost weight, so far 20 pounds.
Fruit just doesn't sit well with me, for me sugar is sugar, no matter what form it comes in, whether table sugar or an apple, it just stimulates my hunger.
I also don't eat dairy, on occasion I will eat raw goat or sheep cheese but that's it.
And I would avoid things like Splenda, actually raw honey in small amounts is better.
I do eat plenty, and I mean plenty of veggies and I do eat whole wheat pitas, and oat bran and high fiber cereals, which don't seem to bother my blood sugar at all.
I guess we just have to find what works best for us.
But congrats on the weight loss, that's awesome !
