I dont know what exactly health insurance covers, but would you not be able to get a referral from your GP so you can see a specialist?
After I was initially diagnosed, my GP sent me to the endocrinologist at the hospital, so then it was free.
Im not sure what your GP is like but it is always worth a try! |
