Sub catagories are great! And if a woman accidently posts in the wrong area then men can be gentlemen about it.

I don't think men hang out in forums as much as women do so one eason men may not come in general is that they'd rather learn without admitting they don't know, so they lurk.

I think this is about the question I asked the men and when I clarified my thread and brought someone back to the topic he took it real personal so I defined a boundary based of dignity and respect but he might not have gone for it.

But it sounds that if men are blasted by women repeatedly its more about manners. Women in general are very social conscious and we don't normally like to behave with bad manners, but men sometimes are gruf and forgetul of manners and very competitive with their opinions which to a woman can be very insuting since most of us are sensitive anyway.

It's really about conduct. I expect men to be gentlemen. I also expect that if they really don't want to be helpful, they don't have to respond.

I have only been here 2 weeks and that one instance was enough for me to realize that men think its ok to belittle women is its their corner. It's not ever ok.

MOTB has been wonderfully kind hearted and a few others. But I am new so I don't know al the men here.

Ground rules on appropriate behavior is needed and subcategories.
