Ditto on what everyone else has posted. I just wanted to chime in and say that since this is my 2nd time pg and 2nd time GD, it's not what you eat before you get diagnosed that makes the difference. It's all about your body and how it responds to the hormones. This is just how it is with your biochemistry, and it sucks that your body reacted this way. Since you've been doing low-carb thus far the regular GD diet shouldn't be a problem for you at all. It's all manageable, and it sounds like you'll do a great job.
