All you can do is get him to talk to you and apologize for the way you treated him. I wouldn't think you freaking out on him one time would cause him to leave unless this has been an on going problem. How long have you been married?

My DH has dealt with my irrational behavior and I always apologize and i have gotten a pretty good hold on my emotions and how i treat people even when I want to explode!! i hope you can talk to him and tell him that you will be getting help and ask him if he is willing to work through this with you and that you could use his support and honesty when he feels that you are getting on the edge of hostility, that's what my DH does for me and i either go take a break from everyone or I talk it out with him. You are going to need his support as well as some understanding on his part that hormones suck!! You are going to have to be able to come down from your hormone monster hill and apologize even when you don't feel like it. Good luck
