You'll figure it out. My twins were born at 36w5d, and we started them on similac, then put my daughter on gentlease because her tummy was so gassy, then later moved my son onto gentlease as well, because we surmised that the dairy proteins in the regular formula were making his eczema worse. I also combo fed, pumping and bf'ing as much as I could and making up the rest with the formula.

If your babies are super preemie, then the hospital will probably have you use a special formula. If they make it to say, oh, 34 weeks or later (depending on size and maturity), then you'll just do a trial and error of various formulas you can find at any store.
