I was able to lose some weight recently, it was a challenge though cuz like all West Indians we love food!

I had to cut back on the rice and flour and cut out the softdrinks. I exercised more and tried eating more veggies and the results were encouraging.

I understand that boiled green figs are supposed to be low fat and a nice option boiled and fried in some olive oil with onions and peppers...you know how we like it!

Use more olive oil instead of soyabean or vegetable oil, using provisions like sweet potatoes is better than the rice and try eating more lean meat, chicken breast is always a winner.

I'll post more suggestions as I remember them, I love food and I love to cook but PCOS is definitely a challenge when you love food so I'm always looking at healthy ways to make delicious food.
