Congrats on the pregnancy!
I stayed on met my entire pregnancy. My IVF doc suggested it, and my high risk ob insisted on it.
I had a scheduled section on a Tuesday, and was told by my ob to take my last dose prior to surgery on the preceding Thursday night.
I didn't start back up on it right after the delivery - my doc wanted to see if I was one of the lucky ones who had an IR "honeymoon" period after delivery. My levels were good, but I ended up going back on the Met anyway after a few weeks, as my milk production sucked (ha, ha). I noticed a dramatic jump in quantity after getting back up to 1/2 my previous dosage, and another jump when I ramped up to my full dose.
HTH,
ann
