Default Does vitex prolong your period?

I have been taking it all month, yesterday I reasearched vitex and read that vitex contains 2 things similar to 2 different types of testosterone, therefore more testosterone receptors get binded to the fake testosterone and therefore less is produced by the body. This also causes more progesterone to be produced which can cause your period not to come, just like birth control or NPC your period might not come until you stop the progesterone. So My Luteal phase was usually 8-10 days and here I was on CD 15 with nothing, I knew I wasnt pregnant as well. So I stopped taking vitex and tada heres my period! Yay!
