It is very hard to do, but talking to your doctor privately about this, or even writing a letter if you think you might break down during the conversation, is definitely the best thing. He needs to know. And he might be able to give you instructions for next time. You might be better off asking for a specific nurse by name over the phone and get better bedside manner, you might be able to leave him a message to call you back directly, that kind of thing. I'm really sorry you didn't go nine months this time, but especially that you had to go through it without some kindness from that nurse... how about her saying I'm sorry!! Sheesh. (((Hugs)))
