Just FYI both of those programs that were named are antivirus programs. I don't know about the second one, but AVG is very good at detecting viruses, but not so much for spyware (even though they do include it in their latest version, 8.0). Ad-Aware is a great anti-spyware program that is free for personal use. Every PC I own or use has AVG and Ad-Aware both installed on it, just as soon as I first access the internet. And I do this stuff for a living.
