I had low p4 even though I did ovulate, and I got pregnant but m/c. They actually told me I had not ovulated, but then i got pregnant, so oviously I had. My Dr upped my clomid dose the next time around because he said that it would make me ovulate and it would likely make my p4 go up too, which it did. I would say just ask your dr. My dr is very open to doing whatever I want. He tells me what he thinks i should do , and then he leaves it up to me. But if you don't ask, then he will probably just do whatever he wants.
