Wink hi quickrabbit87

So sorry to hear of your hairloss problems. Are you diagnosed PCOS or just "high androgens" like me?? If your t is coming from your adrenals (cortisol), you may benefit from cortisol regulators (Ashwaganda, Relora) to get to the root cause while squelching the t with other things...

I would highly recommend you see another endo or a GYN. My endo would not prescribe Spiro (t was only "slightly" high, but enough to cause dread shed) but my GYN was VERY sympathetic. I showed her the test results and she was compassionate and prescribed Spiro 200mg + guided me with BCP. Agree 50mg Spiro is a "why bother" amount for alopecia.

In the meantime, it sounds like what you're doing is the best you can do without good dosages of the big guns. Recommend you make sure your B-multi has ALL the B's - many skip some. If ferritin is below 70, recommend you add an iron supplement. Make sure you're getting enough Magnesium (absorbed best w/ Calcium) and Selenium and Copper. Now that I've been supplementing for a few months, I'm thinking about ordering a hair test to see where I may be lacking which may help you too...

Recommend you use a DHT blocker shampoo (Revivogen is good). You may want to add a supplement with Pygeum and Nettle. Ultimately tho, Spiro (200mg) and bcp are the only things that seem to cause long-term stabilizing of hair loss in women w/ sensitive follicles (regardless of the cause). I've read some women regrow ALL THEIR HAIR on these 2 alone!! Good luck and give me a shout if you want to kno more.
