I was just asking cause I live close to the AUT (Infact I got my ultrasounds for bubs done at Horizon) and I go to a local doctor ($25 if PHO enrolled) he was VERY VERY helpful with PCOS and he diagnosed me straight away. He put me on Metformin and was open to a lot of things regarding PCOS. His office is filled with degrees and certificates and he has a very very nice bedside manner. It took us a year to concieve bubs although I've never used protection with my husband and we've been together 2 years.

Regarding the cholesterol results, it is known that people with PCOS will have higher cholesterol.

Just because your hormones are in the normal range I think it still means you have PCOS, as they say, once you're diagnosed with it its not something that will go away, you can just keep it under control with pills/diet/exercise and such.

If you would like to chat more just PM me and I'll give you my email address to chat on MSN.
