girl start off drinking teas everyday, thats a start and also eat fruits and the foods that u love, bring them down to a portion. i was told the same thing but instead of excluding it i just ate less of it and more vegies with my meal. I love potatos and thats a big nono for pcos. but what i do to keep myself happy is eat less potatoes in a meal with more of something else. try to have balance and get your mind right
