And I fully understand what you are saying - I always tell single friends who ask..... marriage is everything you do when you aren't blissfully happy together. It's how you ride the difficulties, disagreements, disappointments, challenges etc. Commit to the idea of being with someone for life... and it's doable. Commit only to being happy - and well... yeah - that doesn't work out too well for people when the happy days vanish...
