Yes, FedEx is good. I'm keepin' my fingers crossed for you!

If FedEx doesn't pan out, look into working for United Parcel Service (UPS). They sometimes hire Christmas help as early as August and it's a good way to get a foot in the door with the company. Even the part timers get excellent health benefits because it is through the Teamsters Union.
We are very, very thankful for my DH's job there.
