Yea, unfortunately I think that all insurance carriers will consider Clomid to be in the infertility category since it is an ovulation inducing drug. The good news is that Clomid is cheap and you can probably pay for it out of pocket and not break the bank.

Femara/Letrozole is not approved for that, so it may be covered. The bad thing about Femara is it is expensive. I have a high deductible and everything applies towards it (even Rx) and it costs me $158 for 15 pills of Femara at Target.

Femara is the only one that has worked for me. I took 6 months of Clomid with no luck. O'd on Femara the 2nd time and got pregnant twice (unfortunately both ended in m/c), but it worked!
