I have visited this site many times in the past 2 years since I was diagnosed with pcos, but now I registered because I am at my wits end with my husband. When we started dating I was thinner. I gained 70 pounds in 2 years. I have insulin resistance and I have tried every diet and pill under the sun. My husband keeps telling me that he can not understand how having pcos and insulin resitance could keep someone from losing weight. He says if you eat right and exercise you have to lose weight.he says that I must be cheating on my diet It has become very frustraing to diet and exercise and still see the scale go up. I am extremly depressed and on the verge of divorce. My husband has flat out told me he doesn't like the way I look and wants me to lose weight. I just need to know if anyone has any suggestions or successful weight loss tips, or any insight on how to explain pcos and insulin resistance to my husband, so he can understand that it is not easy to lose weight with this.
