Thumbs up I'm considering the surgery, and have some questions...

I'm considering the surgery -- it's taken many years for me to think of it as a serious option. I've been to several seminars and have found a doc. I'll be seeing him at the end of this month for consultation.

I'm have some PCOS and WLS questions:

1. Hair Loss - I'm already dealing with hair loss. (I'm not sure what I miss more, my hair or my waistline!). I know there's a period of time for hair loss due to the weight loss and surgery. I sorry it'll make me darn near bald with the double whammy - does the hair come back and does it help PCOS hair loss once the weight is off?

2. Reduce the needed meds? I'm on a LOT of meds right now. Does the surgery help reduce the need for those meds and until the weight comes off, how do you get those pills down?

3. Do PCOS symptoms greatly reduce or disappear after the surgery?

4. Too much hair - Does the body's hormones balance and the extra facial/other places hair diminish?

5. With such fast weight loss, how do you manage clothes?

6. Any regrets ... would you do it again?
