Well, I can tell you how my Church handles it. We see sex as the union between man and wife, and for a man to purposely ejaculate outside of that union, is a sin. SO, when a Catholic husband needs a semen sample, he should use and obtain a perforated, un-spermicided/unlubricated condom. This maintains the potential for the creation of life (God willing), but obtains the necessary sample as well. It maintains the unitive and the procreative portions of the marital union (one without the other is wrong/sinful to us), while obtaining that which is needed for the medical folks.
Of course, you would have to time it, and get the sample containerized and to the dr asap afterwards. But you CAN do it. Catholics either find a dr trained in NaPro, or contact the Pope Paul VI institute for the condoms.
That *may* alleviate some of your DHs concerns, if the fact that there is porn in those rooms, or that it would be otherwise unfriendly to your faith, makes him uncomfortable. This way, it could occur in the midst of normal marital activity, and wouldn't require much effort on his part. Ykwim. ;-)
HTH, and GL!
