Now I don't know about the colleges/universities in the USA, but in Canada, atleast Ontario, most alumni associations have access to group insurance. We have "universal health care" here, so doctor's visits, lab/bloodwork is covered, there maybe some exclusions, like the one for prosate. My insurance covers prescriptions, vision, dental and extended health, which includes: pysio, naturopath, chiropatic, semi private hospital accomodates, some dental appliances, hearing aids, etc.
