Why can't health insurance companies just accept whatever patients can pay the premiums? It's not logical for a company to think they can filter out everyone with an ailment or condition and insure 100% of the healthy people in society. You get some healthy people who pay premiums and never use the insurance; you get some sick people who aren't in good health and will require surgery or treatment. It all comes out in the wash.
