I almost forgot some states are allowed to charge you a higher premium for the higher you score or more conditions you have. This helps to keep the cost down for those that are healthy and cost more for those that use their insurance more.
Not all states have this option. Not all states have the same scoring system as the one for Washington that I posted above either. I can tell you in Washington about 90 percent of people are approved because we have a sliding scale. You can live in one state be denied, and in Washington your approved.
