I heard about this too, so I put a call into my endo. I am on insulin and byetta isn't approved to be used with insulin...So, he took me off of it. But in June and July I had something weird happen to me. For a week or two each month, I would run a fever and had no energy what so ever and the rest of the month I was just totally zapped of energy. So much so, that I was ready to be taken to the emergency room and I am not the type of person that runs to the emergency room for every little things. I found out last week that I was anemic. I am not sure if the fever had anything to do with it or not, but my Endo took me off byetta just in case.
