Shalini - welcome to the group.Like all the others before me have said,it all depends on your constitution and no two people are the same when it comes to medicines and their effects.My doc actually started off with a follicular study,followed by what they call Clomid(letrazol is used in india) and she said if this dint work out,she would give me an FSH injection and if that dint work out either,she suggested the laproscopic procedure to puncture the cysts.This was the line of treatment laid out for me but luckily i dint have to go that far.I guess your doc would have planned a line of treatment suitable to your situation and im sure your test would give you a sense of direction as to what to do next.Hang in there and be positive.
Avantika - So what did you do about the hair shedding.Did it reduce once you stopped Femcon?Do let me know.Im facing the same problem and im in dilemma as to whether i should bring it to the docs notice.Ive just completed two packs.I guess every bcp has some adverse effect or the other so im guessing we just have to weigh the pros and cons and decide which one works for us.
Anjali- hope things work out for you this time and best of luck for your forthcoming surgery.
NDandiwal- actually,i was given glyciphage too which i am thinking helped me out along with letrazol(similar to clomid).Within two weeks of taking that,i actually conceived.I heard the same story from a lot of others too that glyciphage has helped.
