Default Anyone taking or have taken Meridia - I have some questions

I posted this in the Diet & exercise forum but did not get a response, so I thought I would try here. I am thinking about asking my doctor for a 'script for Meridia. I have tried and tried to diet but I cannot control the cravings. Its weird too because if I do really good for a few days and stay away from sugar its like all of a sudden my body just craves it then I binge all day. Its like I'm just making up for those few days of eating healthy. Anyway, I was just wondering how Meridia compares to Adipex/phentermine. I have tried Adipex before and lost weight but always gained it all back and then some. I want something that will control my appetite more so than something that revs me up like the Adipex did. I just feel like if I could get the diet under control I could lose weight because I like to exercise and I really want to start running again. Running was the only thing that ever kept weight off of me but I'm too heavy to run right now. Anyway, I just wondered what any of you had to say about it. My main question is is it easier to keep weight off after Meridia than Adipex? I just don't want to lose weight only to gain it back again. I just really need something to help cut the cravings and the appetite so that I can stick to a diet and get this weight OFF! *sigh*
