Thanks everybody for the responses. Sweetstar, wifey is eating healthier and exercising-she's a wiifit fanatic. I'm kind of an amateur bodybuilder so eating right and exercising is VERY important to me-and strength training of course. My wife's diet is definetely something we're working on-we're hoping the Metformin will kind of kick her hormones back into gear.
She's a Dr. Pepperaholic-and all I every drink is water (might have a beer or soda once a week). We're limiting her to 1 soda a day-she hates it, but I'm hoping it helps her be healthier and she knows it's for the better. As for eating better it's tough on her, she's a therapist and sometimes doesn't get home until after 9:30 at night, and it's tough to eat right and healthy at that time of night (tough on your digestive system too). I checked your profile, but am new to the site and wasn't sure where you listed the specifics on a low glycemic diet (I'll google it too). Thanks again everybody!
Also, we're hoping it won't come to Clomid of course. The Metformin will (fingers crossed) begin to regulate things. Not sure how personal to get-but she just had her first period on her own (without Provera, etc.) which is kind of a big deal to us because she wasn't having them on her own. Now I know this doesn't mean she's ovulating, but it makes us a bit more optimistic! |
