Default Pain after Laproscopy

This is my first entry and just need some advice.

My husband had a testicular torsion which resulted in removal of his testicle in March. His sperm count initially was 150,000, but luckily, he was retested in July and it has increased to 5million with 80% motility. Because of his infertility issues with low sperm count, I decided to get myself assessed and was found to have PCOS (dx by pelvic u/s) and endometriosis (dx and tx by a lap). The lap was done on August 7 and I have been on Metformin 2000 for 2 months.

I have started charting my temperatures and used OPK this month. According to the OPK I ovulated. I had pain on my left side, so I thought I possibly could have ovulated from the L ovary. That was last week. Now this week I have been having constant pelvic pain on both sides.

Is this an early sign of pregnancy? Has anyone else had luck getting pregnant with a husband with a low sperm count and how low? The next step would be clomid; however, because clomid causes decrease in cervical mucous, the Dr. said we would have to go to IUI.

Please help.
