Based on your screen name, I am wondering if you are in nursing school? If you eventually get a job that offers group insurance, you can't be turned down to participate in their plan. Most hospitals or physician groups would offer group insurance to their employees. For now, have you checked into insurance offered by the school for students? It is usually very reasonable. You many not want it right now, but it may make it easier to get individual insurance in the future, if you wind up working for a company that offers group insurance. |
