Hi guys,
I'm new here and I thought i'd tell ya my story.
I live in Dunedin, NZ and im almost 20. I was diagnosed this time last year after one day i woke up and decided the pain i had been in for months was wrong lol up until then it seemed normal. I went to the doc who thought my ovary was twisting so in feb i had a laparoscopy. they found that it wasnt and the only way to explain my pain was that my ovaries were swollen and very irritated - covered in cysts.
At the same time they also put in a merina iud. i have really high blood pressure and i've been told the merina was my only option. It has been working really well - the pain stopped and i havent had a period in six months. my moods seemed to be pretty stable (compared to wht they had been.) I've been trying to lose weight doing vibration training and excercise.
Everything was going well until a few months ago and now it feels like its starting again. My moods are all crazy again, i've started having huge amounts of pain every three or four days and I have no energy. i went to the dr and they tried to find my merina doing an internal but it was nowhere to be seen. Now i have to wait six months just to have a scan to make sure it hasnt moved.
Sorry to rant and rave lol I just wanted to get my story out there and see what feedback u guys have??
