I love the concept of Low GI eating - not too many strict rules about counting carbs etc and you should notice your energy levels improve reasonably quickly.

By eating well I can maintain my weight, its when I boost the exercise that i start to shed the weight.

Metformin and its side effects can be hard going to begin with(You might want to check out the Metformin forum), but if you can stick with it and complement it with the right foods and exercise you'll find life is so much easier!
