We have a home gym - treadmill, exercise bike, gym ball, punching bag and weights centre. I use the bike and the treadmill everyday. I use the weights most days or I alternate them with the gym ball and punching bag. I also do "boxing" type training with the gloves and mitts. My husband is qualified to write training programs and he has done one for me. I thought I would hate it but it's quite the opposite. I can't wait to get home after work and do a session of some kind. I have just started back at work after 6 months off (had a stress related "meltdown") and doing a session every afternoon helps me to sleep better at night as well. I've found that the exercise combined with low GI eating is fantastic. It's easy to follow and stick to and more importantly - it works! |
