Thanks Paddy! Stories like this help me feel better. I've started up the low carb diet too and have lost 3 lbs in a week and a half. But does it suck!! I'm such a lover of breads, pastas, etc. The plus side is that we eat out less often because there aren't many places you can go that doesn't have carbs involved. At home I can dictate my diet better. Last christmas time I had lost about a stone and a half but put it back on throughout this year. I want to try really hard. We even bought a Wii so my husband and I can "workout" together. How long did it take you to lose the weight? Hope you don't mind me asking. It's just reassuring sometimes to know others have been through it and can do it.
