treblecleff- if you don't mind me asking are you overweight?? I am a thin cyster and my gynae told me that 1000mg of metformin was the max I could take but if I was overweight I could take more. Where in the UK do you live?? Maybe another cyster could suggest a specialist for you?? Has your GP refered you to your local fertility clinic for tests and treatment??? Also have you looked on the verity website and discussion board its more UK based and could help you find the right treatment.
