I understand. I have always had a period every 24 days on the money. I was diagnosed with a short luteal phase and told that is why I could conceive but had miscarriages. I was on clomid and progesterone suppositories and I went through this for two years and PCOS was never mentioned becuase I didn't have cycts and could conceive. A year ago I was diagnosed (by another dr.) as having PCOS sypmtoms but no cysts so I have been taking metformin for a year but still have the 24 day cycle. Bio clock is ticking loudly, and eventhough my partner and I have two children (biologically hers), I would still like to sometime try again to have a child. I have to think it is a good thing to know you have PCOS before you start ttc rather than finding out after you have put your time, money, heart and soul into ttc.
