Default IR/Diabetes T2 - what do you eat for breakfast?

I went to my GYN yesterday. Because of a YI, she decided that I should have my blood sugars checked again. Last year, they were normal but my glucose:insulin ratio was approaching the IR mark.
In the last 5 months, I have been watching what I eat. I have tried to limit my high sugar, low fiber carbs. After reading online, I found you should cut out all bread products. I usually will eat a whole wheat round roll with peanut butter, oatmeal, bran flakes, etc for breakfast. I try not to eat eggs all the time.

Any other suggestions on what I can eat for breakfast?
