Weight estimates of babies are notoriously wrong - I wouldn't worry just yet.
There's lots of moms told to expect a 9-10 pound whopper who end up with a much smaller baby.
Unfortunately the reverse can also be true and tiny babies turn out big... but in most cases they seem to over estimate.
