My babies are already weighing 1 lb and 1 lb 1 oz at 21 wks, which is ahead of the curve. My dd was 9 lbs 12 oz at 39 wks and I was checked for GD twice with her. I think I just have big babies. DS was 5 lbs 13 oz at 36 wks and they figure he would have gained minimum 1/2-1 lb a week in the last month so he was set to be a 9 lb baby too.
If you do have it it's pretty easy to get under control, but I wouldnt' worry about your babies being too big or unhealthy, I'm sure they'll be fine
