not sure what to think I was just diagnosed with PCOS TODAY, although the doctor I told me she thought I had it about two months ago, and did tests to see if thats what everything pointed to. Turns out everything does point to PCOS, and she immediately referred me to a gyno. I'm not sure if I shoudl worry that she did that...I would think that she could help me just as well as her? Also, when I asked her about my testosterone levels and how high they were she just said "Well, they are definitely higher than most of the people I have seen." That doesnt make me feel good either. My free testosterone was at 15.2....and I know thats not good.
My biggest fear is the thought of diabetes, since I am overweight, although not extremely. That, and cancer in the unterus. I have had irregular periods since I was 11....and by irregular I mena I get them about once a year.
You have to understand that I am always getting sick (pretty much once a month) as it is, and I mean SICK, not just a cold. and now this has been thrown at me as well. I feel like my body is just going to give up before I even get to my twenties.... : / |
