I was diagnosed with depression less than a year after I hit puberty, which is when PCOS starts, so I know that my depression is caused by the PCOS, I've been on medication for about 5 years now, and have no complaints. I've come to terms with thte fact that I will probably be medicated until the day I die. I also was in intense therapy for about a year to address other issues. I still cut sometimes, but for the most part things have gotten better.
