Since my periods are very irregular, my mom has always advised me to use this Chinese medicine called Bai Fung Yuan (I'll have to double check the spelling), which is specifically for "women's health". They are tiny black pills made of black-boned chickens. I was personally too lazy to take it (plus it's not that easy to find it in Netherlands compared to Indonesia) and it was much easier to use contraceptive pills, so I can't tell you whether it works or not. My mom is convinced because my auntie has been using this medicine for a long time and it seems to help regulating her period. My auntie is 50+ years old and still hasn't got her menopause (therefore she still have good skin, hair, etc). My mom seriously believed that this is due to the Bai Fung Yuan.
Since 3 days ago, I'm on Provera and will start on Clomid because we're planning to have kids. If none of these work after some time, guess what I will try next!
Let me know if you're interested, so I can check the correct spelling + manufactory info, etc.
