 *Insulin Pump , Anyone?*
I thought I seen an old thread about getting/having an insulin pump but cannot find it. Anyhow, I am wondering if any cysters are using one to get better control of diabetes.
I am type 2 but recently found out I am expecting. Although we are not sure how this will turn out, my Dr. asked me to consider this because it offers the best control for diabetes, especially for pregnant diabetics.
He gave me tons of info on it and I meet with his educator on Wednesday. For some reason it seems intimidating to me but I do see where it can really help. It's like a portable pancreas. I am just wondering for those who use the pump, how has it worked for you. Would you recommend it.
