Yeah- that's how I was getting my met. and then I realized that the "3 month supply" they gave me, wasn't for taking 2000mg/day... it was 180 500mg tablets...or something like that- I calculated that it'd last me a month and a half instead... and the prices on the RxOutreach site just went down- so that I could get a 6 month supply of Metformin- in the dosage that I need it- for $20. Same for spironolactone- with that one I just about died from shock when I brought my prescription to walmart the first time- the pharmacist asked me if I had insurance, and I said no, these are on the $4 prescription list- I looked.... then they rang up the spiro, and I was plunged into shock, when I heard their price, being something upwards of $100.... (prescription was for 360 tablets) I didn't know what I was going gto do... so for the first few weeks I was buying a "30 day supply" that really equaled a week's supply, (my doctor had me on 100mg/day, and they are 25mg tablets) for like $9.40 each week.... so I started hunting and found the RxOutreach place.
I don't get my bcp from them, but that's because I can get that for free through the state's "Family Planning Waiver" program...
