Before we left for Thanksgiving, I had an u/s and drs appt to check on a cyst. They thought it might be a dermoid cyst, but PTL it wasn't. It's either endometriosis or a hemorrhagic cyst. The u/s tech also said that my ovaries were huge and about to burst (woohoo!). She said most women w/PCOS don't have the hormone surge to cause the ovaries to enlarge and burst. She also said my ovaries don't look polycystic (YEAH!). So, when I got to my drs office I asked about the ovaries not looking polycystic and she said yeah they aren't polycystic right now and that my meds are doing what they're supposed to be doing. She also verified the fact that I was abot to ovulate. I asked her if I should hold off on ttc until the cyst thing is resolved and she said no, go ahead and try. Whatever is in there isn't going to hurt me or a baby. I also asked her about the progesterone issue and she went ahead and wroate a script for prometrium and said to start taking it as soon as I get a bfp! I LOVE MY DR!!! She said my dominant ovary is my right ovary which is the one w/out the cyst, so that's great too. So, hopefully this is our month!
